There are going to be ALOT of people that piss and moan about how A,V,D. isn't as good as †. Quite frankly, those people can blow me. This song takes Justice to a whole new level. No longer are they trying to fuck you in the ear with 3 kinds of distortion. If DVNO was just straight up ballin this is the song with the 10 incher. This shit is smoother than porn star snatch….wait....wait….why…haha…why.. am I being so rude? I don't know, it's early.

I like being late to the party on certain things, especially when every other mother fucker is later than I am. I'm pretty late on this considering I'm generally a smarmy &%$# with a $%#@ putting in the $#@! and then taking her %$#@&^ with a #$@!% bridge work %#$@%ing it up with a pair of %#$@ing ear phones. Ha. Yeah, anyway. This song is a fucking sweet slice of lo-fi boom.

It's no secret how aroused I get to Metronomy. They are coming out here for the end of year festivities and the Purple Sneakers DJs won't get to see them play because we're playing something I'm pretty sure I can't talk about yet. The only thing that shits me about this remix is that the J man has tried to get all clever on the vocal arrangement by…well….not arranging it. But it doesn't flow and it kind of just makes me want to push everything into place. But it's the fun drop at 2.02 that I want everyone to pay attention to. Oh Mr. Rose, so many festivals are going to burn because of you (upon re-reading that statement it sounds pretty sinister….I do of course mean people shall, how do you say..... "party down?").

Australians are actually really spoiled over the next 12 months in terms of festival time. I don't think we've ever seen anything as diverse as what we are getting. We're getting Aphex Twin for fuck sake. Although that being said most people only know Windowlicker and think that everything sounds like that. No. No. No. Listen to the entirety of "Mt Saint Michel mix+st Michael" and tell me if you're still excited to see him. ANYWAY, my point was that these guys are hitting us up for Laneway Festival and this song off their 7 inch release reminds me of everything I liked about the 80's. Gated drums, synth bells and that little shooty bass that goes "doo doo doo doo"

Here's another little slice of 1980's style new wave heaven. If someone put John Maus (I had a dream last night I met him actually, nice guy), Ariel Pink, Blouse and these guys on a lineup there would be so much reverb in the room you wouldn't be able to breathe. I'm warning you though, unless you enjoy the aforementioned bands this WILL NOT be your bag.

Yes, summer is approaching. It was actually warm yesterday. Man, I'd be so shitty if I was German tourist here for spring. Weather has been CRAP. Maybe this song will clear your skies. This one has Best Coast as well (meow). Basically to REALLY simplify things for you Best Coast and Wavves are shabooming one another.

Admittedly these guys aren't really a thing. They have one song on their Bandcamp page and that's about it. But in keeping with the fact that weather is warming (or meant to be) I thought a song about a beach would be cute. Only problem is I'm pretty sure I've already talked about this song before because I got it in January……REVIVAL YAYYYYYYY.

It must be nice being awesome. Ben Gibbard has known the feeling forever. He knows it more than ever now, I mean the guy is MARRIED TO MEGABABE ZOOEY DESCHANEL and his records are still fucking brilliant.

And you, Dan Whitford, you prick. You're awesome too. This remix is fucking lovely. I know what I'm playing in every set until the next killer CC remix makes it's way into my love muscle (the one in my chest).

It reminds me of the sheer brilliance of this little ditty - MERCY ARMS - KEPT LOW [CUT COPY -REMIX] Remember this? You don't? Shame on you.

I'd kill for that tune to get revived....but alas.....some things must leave the dance floor.....like drunk girls or ...you know what...I'm going to stop myself before I say something really controversial and wind up on Pedestrian.
