Live Review: MP3: The Grates 'Turn Me On' (Whyte Fang Version)

Personally, 'Sweet Dreams' is my favourite track on THE GRATES' album 'Secret Rituals'. It just screams summer anthem, with a bittersweet undertone to melt your heart. It's definitely a keeper... but in reality, it's 'Turn Me On' that got everyone ticking; it reminded us that The Grates really do have something to say, and boy do they know how to say it...

Now, they've dropped a sweet remix  of 'Turn Me On' by Whyte Fang, and I've gotta say... it blew me out of the water. From such an upbeat pop-rock tune, the way this remix has turned it up on its head is fantastic. It manages to have a sense of electro chill, with an oceanic sounding drone filling the space, and Patience's voice cuts through all the rest.
