FISHING is bouncing, stomping and sparkling, tactile, joyous and woozy. The Sydney beat-making duo formed in 2010 and have already spread melodic and playful jams at home and abroad after being featured on the Fbi radio Beforecast and the Pitchfork Forkcast mid 2010. Fishing blend samples, synths and percussion to create catchy electronic, instrumental pop fuelled by skittering beats, dated organic sounds and computer game soundtracks. Live is booty thumpin’, melodic landscapery and super-high trout jumps, it’s like “your hand is in a toaster, but you’re also catching a lovely breeze from the ocean.”

In their short time on the live scene, FISHING have supported Cloud Control, Jinja Safari, Dappled Cities and The John Steel Singers, and show no signs of slowing down now with a support slot for Baths.

But wait, there’s more!

With 2 years producing behind them, 2 East Coast Tours, appearances at festivals like Splendour In The Grass and supports for acts like: Foals, Yeaysayer, The Go! Team, MNDR, Jamaica, Toro Y Moi, The Soft Pack, Yacht Club DJs, Beni, Vampire Weekend, Light Year, Midnight Juggernauts, The Big Pink, Muscles, Miami Horror, Yolanda Be Cool and Architecture In Helsinki; INDIAN SUMMER DJ’S are certainly no strangers to the disco.

Their live shows are flawless & chaotic at the same time, bringing you rolling, cohesive party mashups to carry you over the rainbow. All that is good and great, new and used; the treasures of present and past generations mixed together in one big hot pot.

Last September saw the launch of their Delirious mix-tape which was released for free on waxwaves.com.au to overwhelming hype, mad praise and typhoons of downloads. In June/July 2011, INDIAN SUMMER DJ’S embarked on a huge national tour playing shows in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Ballarat, Adelaide and Perth, presented by Wax Waves & I Oh You. It seems that the sky is the limit for these natural-born party-starters!

And just when it couldn’t get any better…

New Zealand’s favourite son DJ LOTION, is joining the gathering masses to make this a party that will end all parties.

DJ LOTION has been playing and producing for almost a decade now. A versatile DJ if there ever was one, he has built up a name for himself by specialising in Indie Electro sets, that can be both upbeat and downbeat, perfect for either starting or ending a party.

He’s supported the biggest names in the business including but not limited to; Animal Collective, Canyons, Bag Raiders, Ratatat, Metronomy, Adam Freeland, YACHT, Peaches and The Kills.

In his spare time, he also is the creative brains and music director behind New Zealand’s ever-increasing popular Radio show ‘Radio Active’ over the last few years, playing regular sets that were broadcasted across the country to what is a steadily increasing fanbase.

And again, we have yet another surprise for you!

One half of the powerhouse party duo the 'Purple Sneakers DJ's', RANDALL STAGG is a Sydney DJ/Producer and collaborator who spins a diverse range of music. In between national tours, rocking his weekly residency and producing remixes, he seeks to collaborate and create with a variety of the worlds up and coming young producers, bands and DJs.

Supports from your favorites: J HEASY, DEJA DJ’s and all your favorites dropping party tunes in the front room all night, this is sure to be one fuck-off big party!

Think you've seen it all before? Believe me... you haven't seen anything yet.

So, what are you doing this Friday?
