VIDEO: Wavves 'Bug'

The guys in Wavves sure know how to keep us guessing. You never know what to expect from them, especially in their film clips. And this one sure lives up to that reputation. The re-occurence of Dave Grohl images make us think that maybe Nathan Williams has a (not so) secret crush on him... but really, who can blame him?

The clip for 'Bug' features boardgames, booze, pills, suspicious smokes and some seriously cool specs. Then, ambushed by police, the boys have a shoot off before being saved by a mermaid. That's right, a mermaid appears from their treasure chest to shoot the cops in cold blood, before leading the boys into a swim in the ocean.

We don't quite get the reasoning, but this black and white clip definitely is kinda cool.
