Live Review: STREAM: Girls 'Father, Son, Holy Ghost'

The new Girls album Father, Son, Holy Ghost is finally available to stream and it is essential that you do so.  While the album begins with the drum roll and fevered pace of the self depreciating track ‘Honey Bunny’ nothing on this album is rushed.

The tracks unfold in whispers and delicate guitar strums before taking a sharp left turn and never ending where you would expect it. Where Girls debut album, titled Album, was a little more raucous in its varying styles, Father, Son, Holy Ghost still maintains that diversity moving between 60s ballads and lo-fi fuzz pop, but this time round the lovelorn tunes flow with more consistency and control.
