Joel Gion Killing It At Last Night

Have you lot seen that Snowtown film yet? Killing sprees, bodies in barrels – geez, guess they don’t have a killer Friday nights down in Adelaide, eh? Luckily you do, and we’ll be lighting our very own disco inferno for all you Sydney kids courtesy of a midnight DJ set from Joel Gion of the mighty Brian Jonestown Massacre.

JOEL GION is the tambourine shaking “Spokesperson of the Revolution” and is one of the longest surviving members of neo-psychedelic-nutcases THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE. You may recognise Joel from the 2004 rockumentary Dig! or even a particularly odd episode of The Gilmore Girls but none-the-less, you can expect an epic DJ set of psychotic psychadelia when the man hits the LAST NIGHT stage this Friday.

With singles like “To Catch A Killer” and “Battlescars”, Melbourne’s RED INK are no strangers to a bit of spilt blood. Hot off tours with Biffy Clyro, Miami Horror and British India, the boys are all set to stab you in the face with their raw and aggressive live show

Finally, we have our very own PARTICLES lurking in the shadows, ready to strike at any given moment. It’s their second time on our Last Night stage and we cannot wait to play victim to the Bondi boys once again.

Plus, we’ve got our cold blooded Last Night DJs expertly slicing up beats like Ivan Milat cuts backpackers. Catch the balaclava-clad M.I.T, nightstalker RANDALL STAGG and the doctor of pain himself; PhDJ, as they cut that mother-ucking dance floor to pieces.
