Jinja Safari 'Mermaids & Sirens' National Tour

11 May 2011 | 10:48 am | Staff Writer

Jinja Safari have announced their National winter tour. Warm up with their energetic live shows - forest-rock at its finest! Melb band Husky to support.

Jinja Safari were definitely one of the biggest buzz bands on the Australian music scene in 2010. After a few months in hibernation the boys are back with their national ‘MERMAIDS & OTHER SIRENS’ tour. If you haven’t seen Jinja live yet, you had better prepare yourself. They sing, they dance, they stomp, they’ll make you want to hug a tree and search for double rainbows with their high energy forest-rock performances.

Now Jinja Safari have the plantlife covered, but they’re also adding some animals to their shows in the form of Melbourne band Husky. Husky’s track “History’s Door’ has been leaving a nice bite mark on triple j airwaves, and these guys are a perfect fit for the tour!

Check both bands out at the gigs below;
