New EP from Jackson Mclaren

11 April 2011 | 3:41 pm | Staff Writer

Talented young singer songwriter Jackson Mclaren is set to release his second EP 'Mirrors and Strings', produced by ARIA nominated John Castle. Heavily influenced by Bob Dylan, Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen, his songwriting focuses on observations of people and places. The title track promises that the upcoming EP will have plenty more of his bluesy folk-rock.

Jackson is set to tour Australia supporting renowned artists Ben Ottewell and Passenger, at times accompanied by his new full live band, The Triple Threat.
