Ben Sherman's 'The Big British Sound'

29 March 2011 | 12:06 pm | Staff Writer

For the last few years Ben Sherman has been putting on 'The Big British Sound', a rad music event that brings some of the best Australian up-and-coming artists to the spotlight. With previous bands such as Tame Impala, Little Red, The Seabellies & Jonathan Boulet taking part and going on to gain even more exposure, the night is a great chance to see some of the best new local acts performing their own music, plus covers of British artists they dig.

The line-up for 2011 includes Ball Park Music, Strange Talk, Owl Eyes, Boy in a Box, & Step Panther (we've been lucky to have all but Boy in a Box at Purple Sneakers and Last Night!). Presented by Groupie, FBi 94.5 and The Brag, for only $10 bucks it's worth every cent!
